The Jan Muës Quartet is a jazz ensemble that is well known for its melodious and swinging approach to jazz music. Jan and his quartet know how to capture their audience with a wide range of musical moods and emotions: from cheerful and playful to modest and melancholy, always mixed in with an irresistible, catchy rhythm.

The musicians of this quartet have been playing together for many years. You will therefore never hear four individual instruments, but one organic, musical whole.

Flugelhorn player and trumpeter Jan Muës belongs to the lyrical jazz movement and has clearly found his own niche and style. His musical intention is to share his own feelings with his audience. During his improvisations, his aim is never to overwhelm his listeners with his technical ability but instead play the right note in the right place and with the right feeling.

The Jan Muës Quartet brings well known and more unfamiliar standards, bossa, latin and swing in combination with its own repertoire. A true listening and viewing pleasure.
